The program envisions making the young generation mediators of change through creating a domain of, for, and by them. Hence the name kutty.com, a domain for kids. It is about creating a platform where the concern identification and the intervention will be mediated through the young generation. Here the concerns to be addressed have the potential to be identified, articulated, and responded at the grass root level.

Methodology

Phase I: The interventions are focused on three principal spheres- environment, art, and technology. These will be implemented in three phases. In phase, I, activities based on these areas will be for initiating the child domain. These will help in finding the potentials of the children as well as of the community. As a conclusion to this phase, reward-based responsibilities will be assigned to these children.

Phase III: In this phase, the domain will be established based on the activities in the previous phases. The children will be expected to identify the issues and they will act as a channel through which the interventions are implemented in the community. An inter-community interaction can be facilitated in this phase whereby the achievements and activities of various domains in these communities can be shared.

Phase II: From the division of responsibilities, the issues or problems in each of the previously mentioned topics can be narrowed down to a smaller level through an onsite participatory discussion. Activities based on agriculture, health, art, and technology that children can partake in and monitor are introduced. Farming activities can be introduced to acquaint the kids with agriculture techniques. A nutrition monitor can be assigned to each domain regarding the topic of health. Promotions of artistic and frugal technological innovations are also encouraged. This approach makes the youngsters the responsibility holders and the prospective change-makers of a community. Their achievements can be rewarded, documented, and exposed to others through the domain.
